Using Quick Actions & Shortcuts

Learn about the one-tap shortcuts on the Home tab for check-ins, meal logging, and AI assistant prompts.

The Quick Actions and shortcut cards on the Home tab are designed to give you one-tap access to the most frequent tasks in the app.


Check-in Card

What It Does

This card prompts you to "Check-in." Tapping it opens the full check-in screen where you can log your mood, energy levels, and any symptoms you're experiencing.

Why Use It

Regular check-ins help you:

  • Track mood patterns over time
  • Identify triggers for symptoms
  • Provide the AI with context about how you're feeling
  • Build awareness of your mental and physical state

When to Check In

  • Morning: Start your day by logging how you slept and feel
  • After events: Check in after workouts, meals, or stressful situations
  • Evening: Reflect on your day before bed
  • Anytime: When you notice changes in how you feel

Log a Meal Card

What It Does

This card reads "Log a Meal." Tapping it will navigate you directly to the Meals tab within your History, where you can immediately start logging a new meal.

Quick Start

Tap this card when you want to:

  • Log what you just ate
  • Start tracking a meal in progress
  • Add a meal you forgot to log earlier

Alternative Methods

You can also log meals by:

  • Using the Camera Button (📷) on the Home tab
  • Going directly to History > Meals > + button
  • Taking a photo of food and selecting "Log as meal"

Ask Assistant Section

What It Does

This section provides a scrollable list of "Quick Questions" that you can ask the AI with a single tap. These are powerful, pre-built prompts for common tasks.

🥗 Diet Tips

Get personalized dietary recommendations based on your recent health metrics, activity levels, and health goals.

Example insights:

  • Advanced Tests: Scroll down on the Home tab to find Blink and Voice tests
