Asking Questions About Your Health Data

Learn how to start contextual chats from specific health records for faster, more relevant answers.

One of the most powerful features of Sunu is the ability to ask questions about a specific piece of health data. This provides the AI with immediate context, leading to faster, more relevant answers.

How to Start a Contextual Chat

Step 1: Navigate to any detailed health data screen

Examples include:

  • Go to History and tap on a specific heart rate or blood pressure reading
  • Go to Profile > Medications and tap on a specific medication
  • Tap on your latest sleep or workout card on the Home tab to view its details

Step 2: On the detail screen, find the section titled "Ask About This"

Step 3: Choose your approach:

  • Tap one of the suggested prompts provided
  • Tap the "Ask anything..." button to write your own question

The Benefit of Context

When you start a chat this way, the AI already knows exactly which data point you're looking at.

Example Scenario

You're viewing a lab result for "Blood Glucose" that reads "105 mg/dL"

Instead of typing all that information out, you can simply ask:

  • "Is this normal?"
  • "What could cause this to be high?"
  • "How can I improve this?"

The AI will automatically understand you are referring to that specific blood glucose reading and provide a tailored response.

Works With All Health Data

You can start contextual chats from:

  • Vital Signs β€” Heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, oxygen saturation
  • Lab Results β€” Blood glucose, cholesterol, vitamin levels, and more
  • Medications β€” Ask about side effects, interactions, or timing
  • Workouts β€” Get insights about intensity, duration, or recovery
  • Sleep Sessions β€” Understand your sleep quality and stages
  • Meals β€” Ask nutritional questions about specific foods

⚑ Why This Matters

Contextual chats save you time and get you better answers. The AI doesn't have to guess what you're asking aboutβ€”it already knows.
