Getting Started

Creating Your Secure Account

How to sign up for Sunu with Apple, email, or as a guest — and how each option affects your privacy and data.

To begin using Sunu and save your health journey, you'll need a Sunu account. Sunu supports three sign-in options so you can pick what works best for you.

Your Sign-In Options

🍎 Sign in with Apple (recommended on iOS)

The fastest and most private option on iPhone. Your account is linked to your Apple ID, authenticated with Face ID or Touch ID, and you can choose to hide your email from us using Apple's email relay.

📧 Email & Password

Sign up with any email address and a password. Use this if you're on Android, or if you prefer not to use Sign in with Apple.

👤 Continue as Guest

Try Sunu without creating an account. Your data stays on your device and is not synced to the cloud. You can convert a guest account to a full account at any time — your existing data will carry over.

How to Create Your Account

Step 1: On the welcome screen, tap the sign-in option you prefer

Step 2: Follow the prompts — authenticate with Face ID/Touch ID for Apple, or enter email and password for the email option

Step 3: Confirm your email if prompted (email accounts receive a verification code)

Step 4: Your account is created and ready to use

Why Security Matters

🛡️ Maximum Security

Sunu uses AWS Cognito for account management — industry-standard identity infrastructure. Biometrics (Face ID, Touch ID, or Android biometric) can lock the app itself via App Lock in Settings.

🔒 Privacy First

Your health data stays on your device by default. Cloud sync is opt-in and can be turned off at any time. You control what's shared — and with whom.

⚡ Simple & Fast

No passwords to remember if you use Sign in with Apple. Biometric unlock on return visits.

✨ What's Next?

After creating your account, connect to Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android) to unlock the app's full potential.
