About Sunu
Sunu is more than a health app—it's a personal journey to better health, driven by real experience and powered by advanced AI to help you navigate your health between doctor visits.
🎯Our Mission
Sunu's mission is to bridge the gap between medical visits by providing continuous, personalized, and engaging health advice. We believe proactive, intelligent health assistance should be accessible and seamlessly integrated into daily life.
By combining medical records, wearable technology, nutrition data, and AI-powered insights, we aim to transform how people manage chronic conditions and everyday wellness, making healthcare more continuous, connected, and effective.
📖Our Origin Story
Sunu was born from a deeply personal journey. During a routine annual checkup, our founder Adeel Ahmad was unexpectedly diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, Stage 2 Hypertension, and High Cholesterol. It's challenging to absorb everything and create an effective management plan in just a 30-minute appointment, especially with conditions that require daily attention.
To bridge this gap, Adeel turned to AI, asking detailed questions about diet, medications, and lifestyle changes. He provided his full health context and captured images of meals and health metrics to get personalized guidance. This sparked a vision: a comprehensive health assistant that remembers your context and provides smart guidance everyday.
The results were transformative. Three months later, Adeel's blood sugar levels had dropped to remission status, blood pressure normalized, and medications were reduced. The detailed health logs he maintained helped his doctor see the complete picture of what worked, improving both the patient and physician experience.
This personal transformation through technology became the foundation for Sunu—bridging the gap between appointments with intelligent guidance and turning health data into actionable insights that drive real-world results.
